Training for a National CERT
Client context
As part of their initiative to strengthen national cybersecurity capabilities, the national CERT requested our services to provide comprehensive training on threat hunting and threat intelligence. The objective of this training was to equip CERT members with advanced skills to detect, respond to, and effectively mitigate cyber threats.
Objectives and scope
The training program was designed with the following objectives:
. Provide an in-depth understanding of threat hunting and intelligence methodologies.
. Offer hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and techniques.
. Develop participants’ skills in identifying and responding to advanced threats.
. Promote a proactive approach to cybersecurity within the national CERT.
The scope of the work included:
Delivering an intensive 4-day training program.
Covering both theoretical and practical aspects of threat hunting and threat intelligence.
Using real scenarios and simulations to enhance learning outcomes.
Key deliverables
. Overview of threat intelligence and the threat intelligence life cycle.
. Development of threat hunting and threat intelligence programs.
. Fundamentals and advanced techniques in threat hunting and intelligence.
. Hands-on workshops: scenarios and simulations.
. Integration of threat hunting and intelligence with SOC case studies.
